it's Hard to beleive but Harold unfortunately Died on the 17th of February 2006 in his hometown of New York, New York, USA.
Harold was the life of the party and skated many years for ZOO YORK Skateboards
For more info on a friend to L.A. Skate and Legend Skateboard and Film Actor Harold Hunter who was a respected Skater and will be missed by all.....We have lost 2 loved and well respected Skaters in recent years - Keenan Milton and Now Hunter ... May he rest in Peace

Bootleg Skateboards is apparently finished according to the word on the Street. No New Ads are being placed and that generally sends a message through the ranks - It's all done!!! They ain't spending no money. Nothing official on this one, but the sponsored Skaters are usually in the know before anyone else hears about it. So Board Collectors.... - You better find the decks you think will carry the most loot in about ten years and pack them up - If you are a New collector now is the time to scoop things up before they are finished and sell out of everything.

I started out Selling Skates in Glendale back in 1979 - I left because they gave Skaters tickets for riding on the Sidewalk in a Business District (unbelievable) It took the City of Glendale over 20 years to finally do the right thing for Skateboarders, but after 25 Years at least they did a Concrete Skatepark right. The way I Gauge this Opinion is by who Skates There.

How About on one day Pro Skating Legends Lance Mountain - Steve Caballero - and Eric Dressen ? But thats not the Half of it. Pro's from the 70's and 80's like Steve Olson, Hosoi, Rudy Johnson, Brad Bowman, just to name a few, all Love to come to skate this park and the best part is - It's FREE Thats right it's free! All you have to do is wear your Safety Gear Like Pads and a Helmet (and I recommend wrist guards)and you get to mingle with the Pros or - watch from outside and let your jaw drop. Check it out - you won't be disappointed ! It's Located at the South End of Verdugo Park on Canada Blvd (pronounced Conyada) accross the Street from Glendale Community College and the Sizzler - Don't forget to Bring a Camera !

The skatepark is long on vert and short on street. It looks like Site Design Group's build team have finally brought to So Cal a very much welcomed Oregon style skatepark.The skatepark is relatively small at 15,000 sq ft but packs a mean punch. Be thankful that the city of Glendale hired the Site Design Group to design and build their new skateboard park.

ARTWORK BY PAULO DIAZ

Paulo Diaz painted the Roll Top Door for L A Skate with a Picture of Keenan Milton with some Heavenly clouds above it. If your in L.A. - Check It! Heard it was on Crailtap a while ago.

The owners have been real cool about leaving the Artwork on the walls, (they have added another story) and have not painted out the Kennan Milton Mural and have been telling everyone where we are. The building has been Re-painted and the Mural looks like it's going to stay for awhile longer. You can make a Copy of the Pic off the website (right click over the pic and save as.... Keenan was a special Individual and we all miss him still. At least we have been able to show some respects.
